The Grinch and his “Christmas in Whoville” tree, and more than 40 other trees, wreaths, and door and table decorations will go to new homes with the close of bidding in the Greene County Medical Center auxiliary’s “Holiday of Lights” this Wednesday, Dec. 3. The displays and bid sheets are in the main lobby at the medical center. Bidding will close at 3 pm.
The silent auction raises money for a great cause. All funds raised by the auxiliary are used for equipment needs of the medical center.
Also, the auxiliary will end its 2014 fundraising efforts on Thursday, Dec. 11, with the annual candy sale. Plates of candies and other holiday goodies will be available for sale in the main and outpatient lobby starting at 7 am until all items are gone.
